Job summary

GDG on Campus | University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Education Support and Project Officer for a 2-year fixed-term, full-time role based on the Darlington Campus, Faculty of Engineering, School of Computer Science. The position leads education administration and strategic projects while supporting school operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with learning management systems and education administration.
• Strong communication and computer literacy.

• Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key semester operations, including examinations, results processing, curriculum changes and related activities.
• Deliver clear, high-quality communications and documentation while providing responsive, service-oriented support to academic staff, students, and key stakeholders.
• Enhance education processes using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration by building relationships across the Faculty, central units, and Education Support Officers.
• Provide senior administrative support with policy interpretation and procedural guidance.
• Coordinate and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that advance education services.
• Ensure compliance and timely reports.
• Provide supervision, coaching and support to the Education Support team.
