Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) plays a critical role in supporting Australia’s naval shipbuilding enterprise and managing nationally significant defence infrastructure. Based in Adelaide, ANI is responsible for delivering and managing infrastructure that supports the long-term development of Australia’s naval capability. This is an opportunity to join a high performing project and infrastructure environment supporting nationally significant defence programs.
This is a senior level Document Controller role operating at the centre of major defence infrastructure delivery. You will take ownership of document control systems and workflows, ensuring complete accuracy, traceability, and compliance across all project documentation. This is not a transactional role, it is a governance focused position where your control of information directly supports program delivery and assurance.
You will work across multiple stakeholders in a structured, high accountability environment where precision and discipline are essential. You will be operating in a fast paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple workflows and stakeholders concurrently while working to tight project timeframes. This is an opportunity to join a growing, well-structured team where you contribute to process improvement and play a key role in supporting major project delivery.
You are an established Document Controller with strong experience in large scale infrastructure, engineering, or defence environments. You are confident operating within structured systems and understand the importance of strict process adherence in regulated project settings. You are calm under pressure, highly methodical, and trusted to operate effectively in complex, high volume environments. You ideally bring strong Aconex capability and are comfortable being the “gatekeeper” of accuracy, consistency, and compliance. You can step into an established environment and quickly get up to speed, operating with minimal direction.
You will be joining a collaborative and high performing document control team, where individuals are trusted in their role while also contributing to the broader team. Whether that’s supporting others, onboarding new users or improving processes, there is a strong sense of shared responsibility.
The environment is structured with strong systems and established workflows, but also dynamic, with increasing project demands and the opportunity to be involved in continuous improvement initiatives.
Employees benefit from flexible working arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight, within a team that values accountability, transparency and getting the job done together.
Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.
