ATCO Structures and Logistics is seeking an experienced Document Controller for the Major Projects team in Luscombe (near Yatala), supporting a major workforce housing project in Weipa, Far North Queensland. This is an initial 6-month project role with potential to continue on future projects.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our Major Projects team in Luscombe (near Yatala), supporting the delivery of a major workforce housing project in Weipa, Far North Queensland.

Working closely with our Project Managers and broader project team, you will:
Manage project documentation, registers, records and correspondence.
Control the issue, distribution, revision and retrieval of project documents.
Coordinate document submissions, transmittals, approvals and workflows.
Maintain drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.
Monitor document status and follow up outstanding reviews and approvals.
Ensure project teams are working from current, approved documentation.
Support project reporting, audits, handover and close-out documentation.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous Document Controller experience within construction, engineering, mining, resources or major projects.
Strong knowledge of document control processes, registers, revisions, transmittals and approval workflows.
Experience using electronic document management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up outstanding documentation.
Experience with Aconex, InEight, TeamBinder, SharePoint, Procore or similar systems will be highly regarded.
