Job summary

AirTrunk in Australia is seeking a Senior Director, Origination to lead major development opportunities from inception through approval and execution. As Deal Captain, you will assemble the right teams, shape a clear path forward and address commercial, technical, financial, legal and delivery considerations early.

You'll work with Customer Success, Site Selection, Energy, Development, Finance, Legal and Operations, while building relationships with shareholders, advisers and government

Qualifications

• Experience originating and negotiating complex development or real estate opportunities.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into robust business cases.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with risk assessment.
• Proven stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
• Leadership experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunities from formation to approval with clear rationale and owners.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across commercial, legal, finance and delivery.
• Drive negotiations and refine deal captain framework across markets.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership to de-risk and accelerate decisions.
• Ensure thorough handover to delivery teams post-approval.
