Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Site Design Manager to lead the on-site design delivery for hyperscale data centres in Sydney. You will act as the technical authority on construction, coordinating the Design Team with the Construction Team to uphold AirTrunk’s design standards.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage multidisciplinary interfaces, resolve design issues quickly with contractors and vendors, and drive quality, safety, and schedule adherence across design, commissioning and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with multidisciplinary experience.
• Proven ability to manage design during construction on major projects.
• Experience with hyperscale data centres and OSE integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as site-based design authority throughout project delivery.
• Lead design coordination and governance across engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve contractor design submissions and changes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and consultant responses.
• Support procurement and owner-supplied equipment integration.
• Drive design quality, programme, cost and operational outcomes.
