Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead preflight and inflight construction activities for new data centres and fit-out projects in Australia. You will own project scope, safety, quality, timeline and budget, and oversee AirTrunk's construction teams and partners.

You will coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, manage risk end-to-end, review tender packages, and ensure timely delivery from proposal through handover to operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' construction experience in large scale construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical/electrical/civil/structural engineering, project/construction management, is a plus.
• Experience working for a data centre operator/previous hyperscale or cloud provider in the APAC market.
• Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you have to be ready for a continuous change in direction.
• Results focussed and a 'get things done' approach.
• Nimble, innovative, egoless, fun.

Responsibilities

• Project manage and oversee preflight and inflight construction related activities for new builds and fit out projects, including the ownership of the project scope, safety, quality, timeline and budget.
• Providing leadership and support for AirTrunk's project management teams.
• Management and liaising with internal teams and senior management on time and cost for potential client proposals.
• Management of the project programme to ensure all key objectives are met as well as contractor and customer milestones as per contract.
• Facilitate and be the main point of contact for any development related items or issues for the business and customers.
