Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic or manufacturing engineering and electromechanical product design experience in R&D and manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with domestic consumer products in the food or beverage industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials and manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams, locally and abroad, and coordinating with international manufacturing partners.
• Familiar with regional and international safety compliance standards.
• Proficiency in CAD modelling (SolidWorks) and mechanical/thermal analysis knowledge.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with interest in health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete product lifecycle design and decision making.
• Detail design of electromechanical assemblies with varied materials and finishing techniques.
• Fast-turnaround prototyping with internal and external partners.
• Perform tolerance analyses and DFM/ DFA to ensure mass-production viability.
• Communicate with overseas manufacturers on components and quality expectations.
• Drive root-cause analysis (FMEA) and corrective actions during development.
• Maintain technical documentation and stakeholder reporting.
• Ensure product tests meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the strategic product roadmap delivery.

Role and Responsibilities

You will be a lateral thinker and problem‑solver, taking responsibility for decision making for the complete product lifecycle and its impact on environment and community. You’ll have the enthusiasm and ability to change existing product development approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring products are holistically considered and linked to the company’s mission and philosophy
• Detail design of electromechanical assemblies with a broad range of materials, production and finishing knowledge and surface finishing techniques
• Fast turnaround prototype construction, produced both internally and with contractors
• Performing tolerance stack analyses and technical design reviews (DFM/DFA) to ensure mass‑production viability and quality
• Communicating with overseas manufacturers on component and assembly development and product quality expectations
• Driving technical root‑cause analysis (FMEA) and corrective actions to resolve design and performance issues during development
• Maintaining technical documentation and reporting to stakeholders
• Following product performance test procedures to ensure the quality and safety of product satisfy regulatory standards and brand expectations
• Supporting the development and delivery of the strategic product roadmap in an efficient and timely manner

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic or manufacturing engineering with electromechanical product design experience in both R&D and manufacturing environments
• Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on engineering experience
• Experience with domestic consumer products in the food or beverage industry a plus
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials and manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping
• Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams, locally and abroad, as well as coordinating with international manufacturing partners
• Familiar with both regional and international safety compliance standards
• Proficiency in CAD modelling (SolidWorks), mechanical and thermal analysis knowledge - highly desirable
