Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead identification, shaping and capture of strategic opportunities for the MFC portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner with customers, industry partners and internal stakeholders to drive growth and new capabilities.

The role requires proven BD leadership, deep defence sector knowledge and ability to operate in a complex, international environment.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced business development professional and strategic leader with a proven track record in defence or national security.
• You will have exceptional relationship-building, communication and influencing skills with senior customers, government and industry stakeholders.
• You are commercially minded, strategic, and comfortable in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and execution of the MFC Australia and New Zealand growth strategy within the BD team.
• Identify and prioritise strategic opportunities across defence and national security markets.
• Shape and capture major opportunities from early engagement to contract award.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior customers, government stakeholders and partners.
• Act as central contact for MFC strategy and BD activities across Australia and New Zealand.
• Collaborate across MFC Lines of Business and Lockheed Martin to maximise growth.
• Provide strategic assessments and recommendations on market opportunities and risks to senior leadership.
