Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a senior Business Development Manager to lead identification, shaping, development and capture of strategic opportunities across the MFC portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.

You will build relationships with senior customers and government stakeholders, drive growth, and coordinate across lines of business to maximise opportunities, with eligibility for Australian Defence security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Australian Defence security clearance
• Experience in business development within defence or national security sectors
• Strong relationship-building, communication and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Drive development and execution of the Australia and New Zealand BD strategy within the BD team
• Identify and prioritise strategic opportunities across defence and national security markets
• Contribute to shaping and capturing major opportunities from early engagement to contract award
• Build and maintain relationships with senior customers, government stakeholders and industry partners
• Coordinate across Lines of Business to maximise growth opportunities
• Provide strategic assessments and recommendations to senior leadership on market opportunities and risks
