Job summary

The Department of Justice in Western Australia is seeking a Senior Data Modelling and Analytics Officer on a fixed-term 18-month, full-time basis to support the Office of Crime Statistics and Research (WACSAR) with advanced data modelling and analytics.

The role provides guidance to the Data Modelling and Analytics Director and aims to drive reform through insightful statistical outputs for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant skills in data modelling and statistics, and the ability to communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience leading other staff and building analytic capabilities within a team.
• Ability to think through complex issues and adapt to different social and organisational environments.
• Willingness to pursue opportunities to develop one's own capabilities and act as a role model for junior staff.
