Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced engineering SME to lead data center delivery processes for maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure in Melbourne. The role drives change management, governance, and high-autonomy execution to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency across global sites.

The candidate will oversee design reviews, commissioning, and operations, collaborating with multiple teams to align on capacity, sustainability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an SME for data center maintenance and change management.
• Ability to lead cross-site governance, design reviews, and incident response.
• Experience with power, cooling, BAS, and life-safety systems in mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise standards for preventive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, liquid to chip, and life-safety systems; ensure consistent execution and documentation across sites.
• Lead advanced diagnostics for reliability issues; drive remediation programs to improve uptime and energy efficiency.
• Set performance targets and KPIs; establish dashboards and audits to validate SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead high-severity incident response; coordinate stabilization, stakeholder updates, and durable corrective actions at scale.
• Institutionalize RCA methodologies and CAPA governance; track cross-site action closure and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain enterprise emergency plans; run simulations and continuous improvements.
