Job summary

Lendlease WA is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team and support the delivery of a major project in WA. You will lead procurement of major trade packages, administer subcontracts, assess variations and claims, and manage monthly forecasting, budget and cost reporting.

This role requires minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, strong contract negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the Construction industry, ideally with a main contractor.
• Experience managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance.
• Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts.
• Experience in procurement and tender processes.
• Financial knowledge to manage budgets and monitor costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost and contractual matters to control project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and supplier agreements.
• Foster relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Maintain knowledge of head and sub-contracts.
• Procure major trade packages.
• Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and cash flow statements.
• Undertake monthly progress claim reporting and presentations to stakeholders.
• Manage finalisation activities including financial and defects close out and completion documentation.
