Job summary

Design & Build is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join a major Defence infrastructure project in Perth. Based in Osborne Park, you’ll manage subcontractor packages, administer subcontract agreements, variations and payment schedules, and support commercial delivery of critical works through to 2029.

You’ll bring proven civil or airport infrastructure project experience, strong subcontract administration, variations and risk management, and the ability to coordinate with

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Administrator on major projects.
• Experience in civil construction, airport infrastructure, airfield works or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract administration, variations, progress claims and commercial management.
• The ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages and competing priorities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem solving, risk management and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual administration of subcontractor packages.
• Administer subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims and payment schedules.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, contractual compliance and commercial risk.
• Identify and manage variations, contractual issues and potential claims.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager and wider project team to achieve commercial and programme objectives.
• Maintain accurate commercial records, forecasts and contractual documentation.
• Support the resolution of commercial disputes and contractual matters.
• Ensure subcontracted works align with project specifications and contractual requirements.
