Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support a major WA project. You will lead procurement of major trade packages, administer subcontracts, assess variations and claims, and manage monthly forecasting, budgets and cost reporting while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in construction, with main contractor experience, and are adept at negotiating terms, contract compliance and procurement processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor.
• Experience managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with subcontractors.
• Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts.
• Experience being involved in procurement and tender processes.
• Financial knowledge to help manage budgets and monitor costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and supplier agreements are properly managed.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of head and sub-contracts.
• Procure major trade packages and administer subcontracts.
• Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements for subcontracts.
• Undertake monthly progress claim reporting and presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Manage project finalisation activities including financial and defects close out, and completion documentation.
