Job summary

Amida Recruitment is partnering with a growing head contractor in Sydney to appoint a Senior / Contracts Administrator for a busy fit-out and refurbishment division. You will prepare and check subcontract packages, negotiate and review tenders, and maintain procurement schedules aligned with the project program.

The role offers clear career progression, exposure to blue-chip clients on projects from 500k to 40m+, and a collaborative culture across commercial, hospitality and leisure sectors,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar.
• 2–5+ years in construction, ideally tier 1/2/3 background.
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
• Strong financial analysis and administrative focus.
• Good negotiation skills and communication abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check subcontract packages.
• Negotiate and review subcontract tenders.
• Produce and maintain a procurement schedule that matches the program.
• Prepare accurate payment schedules.
• Process progress/delay claims and external variations per contracts.
• Prepare and issue monthly progress reports for clients.
• Set up and maintain job files, drawing and contract registers.
• Assist in management and tracking of project expenditure against budget.
