Amida Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Sydney to oversee multiple construction sites, delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects for blue-chip clients.

You will manage on-site teams, ensure compliance with drawings and specs, and drive safety and program milestones, coordinating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Trade or building related qualification.
• 5 to 10+ years’ experience in site supervision of construction projects, including planning, programming and onsite management.
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
• Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Desirable – Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Sound knowledge of building legislation, regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple sites to deliver high-quality, on-time construction projects.
• Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions for all staff and subcontractors.
• Complete daily site diary entries.
• Review and manage key project issues.
• Liaise with statutory bodies for notifications.
• Ensure site compound and amenities are established and maintained.
• Organise site inspections with clients, authorities and consultants.
• Assist Project Manager with scopes of work.
• Understand head and subcontractor contracts related to timeframes.
• Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors.
