Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a Brisbane-based commercial contractor delivering projects across Queensland. You will manage day-to-day commercial and contractual administration, including procurement, tenders, claims, variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence, working closely with the Project Manager to drive value.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration within commercial construction.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, claims, variations and EOTs.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing head contract and subcontract administration, including procurement, tendering, claims, variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
• Overseeing subcontractor scope, pricing, negotiations and contract letting.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasting and monthly commercial reporting.
• Assessing claims, managing variations and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate contractual and commercial documentation across project systems.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Working with the Project Manager to achieve strong commercial outcomes through to Practical Completion and final account.
