Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join its Brisbane team to manage a strong pipeline of commercial projects.

The role covers procurement to completion, variations, progress claims and EOTs, subcontractor management, cost control, and collaboration with the Project Manager and delivery team on diverse projects across commercial, education, industrial, and hospitality sectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role within commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Experience across commercial, education, industrial or hospitality projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts from procurement through to project completion.
• Prepare, assess and negotiate variations, progress claims and EOTs.
• Manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
• Assist with forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team.
