Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a senior Construction Technology Sales professional to lead technology growth across the Perth District (WA, SA, VIC, TAS).

The role is field-based, working with dealers and customers to turn technology investments into measurable value, enhancing productivity, safety and outcomes on site. The position requires leveraging fleet data and customer insights, and coordinating with product teams to ensure successful adoption and ongoing use of Cat technologies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development or commercially focused roles within construction technology or heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of civil construction and earthmoving workflows, connecting technology to productivity and value.
• Practical expertise in machine control, payload, telematics or equipment safety technologies.
• Experience independently managing a territory or significant customer/dealer relationships with senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead district technology priorities with dealers to develop and execute practical growth and adoption plans.
• Identify new machine and aftermarket opportunities, develop customer proposals and support dealers in moving technology sales forward.
• Use fleet data and customer insights to prioritise activity and track progress against adoption and utilisation objectives.
• Build relationships with customer decision-makers and dealer leaders, linking technology to operational priorities and value.
• Conduct jobsite reviews and demonstrations to identify productivity and safety opportunities and drive measurable improvements.
• Increase effective use of Cat technologies across installed fleets and track adoption outcomes beyond activation.
• Develop dealer capability to sell, demonstrate and support technology adoption, including targeted training.
• Coordinate with product, digital and support teams to resolve issues affecting adoption and outcomes.
