Job summary

ING Australia is seeking a seasoned compliance professional to own enterprise-wide governance of policies, licensing and CPD frameworks. The role reports to the Head of Conduct Compliance and Ethics and engages senior leaders, governance committees and regulators.

As a senior individual contributor, you will drive policy lifecycle, training programs and licensing submissions across AFSL/ACL obligations, delivering clear accountability and robust governance across the Bank's regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Compliance or related fields within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of AFSL/ACL obligations and Responsible Manager requirements.
• Experience managing policy governance frameworks and regulatory change.
• Experience leading compliance training or CPD programs.
• Excellent executive-level writing and governance reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage licensing governance across AFSL and ACL obligations, including Responsible Manager appointments and regulatory submissions.
• Own and maintain the governance framework for Compliance-owned policies and procedures.
• Lead policy lifecycle management, including reviews, approvals and regulatory mapping.
• Oversee Compliance training, awareness and CPD frameworks with regulatory evidence.
• Prepare papers and recommendations for senior management, governance committees and regulators.
• Provide expert advice on policy governance, licensing, training and competency obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement across compliance frameworks, controls, reporting and governance practices.
