Job summary

ClearView Wealth, now part of Zurich, is recruiting a Senior Compliance Manager on a 12-month contract in Sydney. You will partner with the Head of Risk and Compliance to embed and strengthen the Compliance Management Framework across the organisation, with responsibility for incident management and privacy matters.

You will work with the Legal, Product, Life Administration and Claims teams to monitor regulatory obligations, review policies, and provide practical compliance guidance, ensuring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial services, preferably life insurance.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance management.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework for life insurance and superannuation (ASIC, APRA, privacy obligations).

Responsibilities

• Establish close working relationships with the first line risk and compliance teams.
• Manage and assess incidents, support root cause analysis, and track actions to closure.
• Provide regular reporting to Senior Management and Board Committees on compliance matters.
• Maintain the compliance obligations library and monitor regulatory requirements.
• Review and maintain Risk & Compliance policies and procedures.
• Undertake control testing of compliance obligations and address gaps.
• Manage privacy queries and escalations, including handling privacy incidents.
• Provide practical compliance advice and engage stakeholders to manage risks.
