Encircle Community Services is seeking an OPAP Engagement Officer in Redcliffe to support older people facing isolation and housing pressures. The role includes information, advocacy, referrals, and coordinating social activities within a strengths-based framework.

Requirements include a Certificate IV in Community Services (or equivalent) and a Queensland Driver Licence. The position is fixed-term, part-time (3 days/week), with a competitive hourly rate and salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with older people and stakeholders.
• Experience in community services, aged care, or neighbourhood centres.
• Ability to work with a strengths-based, person-centred approach and culturally safe practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide information, advocacy, referrals, and practical support to help older people access services.
• Plan and facilitate social inclusion activities and community events.
• Maintain records, reporting, and program documentation; contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement.
