Sharp and Carter in Sydney seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst to start next week on a 3‑month contract with strong extension or permanency potential. You will lead pricing analysis, support pricing reviews, and provide commercial reporting to influence financial direction.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification, excellent communication, and experience building Power BI/Tableau dashboards. Hybrid work is offered with a substantial salary package (circa AUD 150,000 + super).

• Build dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and Tableau.

Senior Commercial Analyst - Start Next Week!

About the role
An exciting role with a global industry-leading FMCG organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Senior Commercial Analyst position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a 3 month contract role; however there is the genuine for extension and/or permanency given the strong growth trajectory of the business.

The responsibilities

Reporting into the Divisonal Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Customer pricing analysis and maintenance of pricing mechanisms
• Supporting contract and customer pricing reviews, including levies, cost recovery initiatives, and other pricing adjustments
• Commercial and performance reporting
• Data analysis and in generating actionable commercial business insights
• Root-cause analysis of business performance and variances
• Building and enhancing dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and/or Tableau
• Providing commercial support to the Sales function
• Build effective cross-functional relationships with your stakeholders to influence, challenge and execute initiatives; delivering business unit objectives
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with the dynamic operating model.
• Ad-hoc project work as required
