Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to drive commercial performance across a national network. You will partner with Operations, build financial models, and own budgeting and forecasting, delivering dashboards and KPI insights to inform strategic decisions.

The role emphasises hands-on analysis, Power BI and Excel-based reporting, and process improvements to enhance profitability and data-driven decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in commercial finance or FP&A or similar analytical role.
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent, preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Proven ability to partner with operational and non-finance stakeholders.
• Commercially curious, proactive and willing to challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join a well-established, growing national organisation.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance across a complex, operationally focused business. Partnering closely with Operations and other key stakeholders, you will translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights that improve profitability and support better decision-making.

This is a hands-on commercial finance role offering a strong mix of business partnering, financial modelling, forecasting and process improvement. You will also have the opportunity to enhance reporting capabilities through Power BI, Excel and other analytical tools.
