Job summary

Sharp & Carter Finance & Accounting Perth seeks a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to drive financial performance across national units. You will partner with operational teams, build robust financial models, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.

• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.

• Partner with operations to drive profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyse performance to inform pricing and promotions strategies.
• Support month-end reporting and data accuracy.

As the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of national business units. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll provide commercial insights and analysis to support key decision-making, improve efficiencies, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
• Building and creating financial models for cashflow analysis.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate and business partner with operational teams to drive profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyse business performance to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
• Support month-end reporting and ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Provide insights into market trends and their potential financial impact.
• Collaborate across other business units
• Work closely with Head of Strategy, Treasury, FP&A and the CFO.

Skills and Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified or similar is essential
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements.
• 5 + years of experience in a Commercial Senior Finance Analyst capacity.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Power Bi
• Proven experience, building and maintaining financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
