Job summary

Randstad is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst in Sydney CBD. This hybrid role combines FP&A with data automation, forecasting, and executive decision support, working with an in-house software developer to deploy Python, SQL, APIs, and Power BI dashboards.

You will model performance with operational leaders and deliver automated reporting packs on a weekly and monthly cadence. On-site, five days a week, with salary circa AUD 150,000 plus Super.

Qualifications

• Bridge between commercial finance/FP&A and analytics engineering.
• Experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, BI, or technical FP&A.
• Strong Python and SQL, with experience building Power BI data models.
• Automation focus using REST/GraphQL APIs and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Centralise data by transitioning systems to a unified data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with in-house software developer to design data capture tools.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation support.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for transparency and literacy across units.
• Deliver automated weekly and monthly financial and operational packs.
• Build automations using Python, SQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Power Platform.
