Job summary

Stone Recruitment is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to own commercial analysis, pricing and performance reporting from our North Sydney office with two days remote work. You will partner with the CFO and senior leadership to shape profitability, store performance and growth initiatives.

The role also supports sustainability reporting and data controls across the business. You will lead a small BI/finance team, develop dashboards, budgets and forecasts, and deliver compelling business cases

Qualifications

• Senior commercial finance or FP&A experience with a relevant qualification.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.

About the role

Reporting to the CFO and managing a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will provide commercial insight across sales, pricing, margins, store performance and growth initiatives. You will also help develop sustainability reporting across the business.

Duties

• Analyse sales, pricing and margin data to identify commercial opportunities
• Deliver reporting across channels, regions, stores and product categories
• Prepare business cases for promotions, new products and store openings
• Improve dashboards, management reporting, budgets and rolling forecasts
• Develop sustainability reporting, data controls and supporting processes

Skills and experience

• Senior commercial finance or FP&A experience with a relevant qualification
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Practical Power BI and SQL capability
• Strong pricing, margin and profitability analysis experience
• Retail, QSR, franchise or multi-site consumer experience preferred
• Sustainability reporting exposure or strong project delivery capability
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
