Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks a Senior Business Development Manager, AWS Cloud Economics, to quantify the cost and value benefits of running applications on AWS. You will build migration business cases, shape IT financial models, and engage directly with C‑level executives, Finance leaders, and IT architects to accelerate cloud adoption.

Qualifications

Interpret data and make business recommendations to inform decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/analytical discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science).
6+ years experience presenting to senior executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and/or internal stakeholders.
6+ years in financial analysis, value engineering, or value advisory.

Responsibilities

Quantify the economics of running IT applications in the cloud vs. data centers.
Develop migration business cases and reusable Cloud Economics learnings.
Present business cases to senior leaders explaining AWS migration value.
Collaborate with Sales to support strategic customer engagements.
Create financial models and benchmarks for客户 IT landscapes.
Contribute to Cloud Financial Management best practices.
