Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Development specialist to drive migration and modernization for enterprise and commercial customers. You will craft go-to-market plans, engage cross-functional teams, and build partnerships to accelerate cloud adoption.

You will partner with sales, professional services, and solutions architects to design winning proposals, manage complex negotiations, and shape AWS offerings to unlock value for customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting with an enterprise focus.
• 5+ years working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies.
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop Enterprise messaging and collateral for migration and modernization considering industry trends.
• Develop and execute campaigns with sales, solution architecture, cloud economics, marketing, partner teams, professional services, legal & contracts.
• Build the BD pipeline by engaging prospects, partners, and existing customers for large-scale migrations.
• Understand customer requirements and guide product offerings with internal specialist teams.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly goals for large-scale migration commitments.
• Input into business reviews to senior management on progress and roadblocks.
• Input into complex enterprise contract negotiations with AWS teams.
