Job summary

Amazon in Canberra is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of AWS-based cloud solutions for ANZ National Security & Defence clients. You will combine technical credibility with project leadership to drive complex cloud migrations, align customer outcomes, and manage cross-functional teams across multiple engagements.

The role requires experience delivering enterprise IT engagements, cloud delivery know-how (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leveraging your knowledge of AWS to coordinate technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Managing technical teams to distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
• Overseeing technical teams to decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
