Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer in Canberra to deliver enterprise-level Azure and M365 cloud architectures within a federal government environment. You will design, govern, and oversee secure, scalable cloud solutions, collaborating with architects, developers, analysts and business owners across Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience implementing and managing cloud systems with strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including source code management, repositories, IaC and CI/CD.
• Solid knowledge of Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, networking, security and identity management.
• Baseline Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-level cloud platform architectures for Microsoft Azure and M365.
• Provide high-level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.

• Design and implement solutions using Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus and API Management.
• Utilise Azure DevOps for code development, source control, repositories, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments.
• Implement and manage Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Design secure Azure networking solutions using Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and RBAC.
