Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer in Canberra to deliver enterprise-level Azure and M365 cloud architectures within a federal government environment. You will design, govern, and oversee secure, scalable cloud solutions, collaborating with architects, developers, analysts and business owners across Australia.

The role focuses on developing cloud platform architectures, providing technical guidance, and ensuring alignment with government standards while

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience implementing and managing cloud systems with strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including source code management, repositories, IaC and CI/CD.
Solid knowledge of Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, networking, security and identity management.
Baseline Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise-level cloud platform architectures for Microsoft Azure and M365.
Provide high-level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.
Offer architecture guidance to cloud engineers and input into design and implementation of secure, reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
Ensure enterprise and system solutions align with whole-of-government standards and target architectures.
