Responsibilities

• Lead clinical improvement engagements across aged care providers, identifying compliance gaps, clinical risks and opportunities for sustainable improvement.
• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients, developing relationships with organisations not currently engaged by the business.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities, establishing yourself as a trusted clinical contact within the aged care sector.
• Support existing clients while proactively developing new relationships and generating additional consulting work.
• Collaborate with the Chief Clinical Officer and wider specialist team to deliver high-quality clinical advisory and improvement services.
• Provide practical guidance to aged care providers on clinical governance, quality improvement and compliance.
• Travel to client sites as required, with interstate travel possible as the business develops.
• Attend the South Yarra office regularly to build relationships with the team and support collaboration.

Are you an experienced aged care clinical professional looking to take your career into consulting, quality improvement and clinical advisory services?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Clinical Consultant to join a specialist consulting team supporting aged care providers to strengthen clinical governance, improve compliance and deliver better outcomes for residents.

Combining clinical expertise, stakeholder engagement and business development, this role offers the opportunity to build your own client portfolio, work alongside an experienced clinical leadership team and earn additional performance-based incentives.

The Role

You will partner with aged care providers to identify clinical risks, address compliance gaps and implement sustainable improvements across their services.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• AHPRA Registration ESSENTIAL
• Significant clinical experience within aged care, ideally across residential aged care services.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, compliance and aged care standards.
• Experience identifying clinical risks and implementing practical improvement strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leaders and aged care executives.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach, with an interest in developing client relationships and generating new business.
• The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple engagements and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients.
• Relevant clinical qualifications and current professional registration where applicable to your discipline.
• The flexibility to travel to client sites as required.

Candidates must be based in Victoria, ideally within easy reach of an airport, as travel to client sites will be required.
