Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking a Clinical Care Leader to oversee delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in a residential aged care setting. You will lead the clinical team on the floor, own care planning, medication management, infection control and compliance, while driving systems and continuous improvement.

The role reports to the Service Manager and focuses on achieving Aged Care Quality Standards, Accreditation, and AN-ACC funding optimisation within a collaborative, values-driven

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration (RN).
• Proven leadership in residential aged care.
• Strong knowledge of AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality Standards & Accreditation.
• Experience in clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Mentoring staff and building high-performing teams.
• Solid documentation and electronic care management system skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Registered Nurses and clinical staff.
• Oversee clinical governance, compliance and quality systems.

About the Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a strong Clinical Care Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a residential aged care setting. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead the clinical team and take ownership of care planning, medication management, infection control, risk management and compliance. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the floor while also driving systems, standards and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the service meets Aged Care Quality Standards, Accreditation requirements and AN‑ACC funding optimisation while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Experience in clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement
