Job summary

Keystone Civil in Geelong, Victoria, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects across regional Victoria and surrounding areas. You will oversee delivery from planning to completion, coordinating project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong communication, commercial awareness, and a hands-on approach to project delivery.

Qualifications

• A qualification in a relevant field (Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and specification requirements.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ best practice.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Great time management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and track production.
• A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Graduate Engineers, and the broader delivery team.
• Mentor and develop both direct and indirect reports to build capability and performance.
• Manage project Profit & Loss, closely monitoring budgets, costs, and productivity.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Own project scheduling, ensuring programs are tracked, updated, and aligned with critical paths, key milestones, procurement timelines, and client requirements.
• Monitor contractual entitlements and manage any program slippage.
• Lead procurement activities for assigned projects.
• Oversee project QC/QA and HSEQ compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive a positive team culture aligned with Keystone’s values.
