Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead civil projects across NSW and VIC from Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong or Melbourne offices. You will manage design, tendering, contracts, scheduling and risk, while leveraging a strong local network to win and deliver iconic projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in civil project management.
• Experience in stormwater/roads, land development, and councils.
• Experience delivering large projects and coordinating daily activities.
• Ability to manage stakeholders in complex environments.
• Experience in project programming and critical path analysis.
• Commercial acumen in managing resources and budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support projects across the full life cycle including design, tendering, contract administration and finance.
• Prepare proposals and align with Stantec PMF practices.
• Market and cross-sell services to secure new clients.
• Lead project delivery and ensure client satisfaction.
• Review contracts for timeframes, milestones and budgets.
• Develop project plans with resourcing, finance and risk.
• Serve as technical resource on complex projects.
• Monitor progress, cost and changes to the scope.
