Job summary

AWX is seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand for a major civil construction opportunity based in Narangba, QLD. You will lead crews, manage day-to-day site operations, and drive delivery of earthworks, subdivisions, roadworks and drainage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading civil construction teams.
• Current driver’s licence and Australian work rights.
• Relevant plant competencies or tickets; additional civil qualifications, First Aid and traffic management credentials valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front: Direct and coordinate civil crews across earthworks, subdivisions, roadworks and drainage activities.
• Drive site delivery: Take ownership of daily operations, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and keep work progressing to programme.
• Bring technical expertise: Interpret plans and specifications and resolve challenges on the ground.
• Maintain high standards: Drive productivity, quality and safety while keeping crews accountable and projects on track.
