Job summary

SEE Group Brisbane is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to lead civil construction teams on earthworks, asphalt and pavements. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors and works to meet drawings, programs and budgets.

You will lead by example, mentor crew, maintain safety and quality, and ensure timely delivery of civil structures across projects in our pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' civil construction site experience.
• Experience with formwork, concreting and steel fixing is essential.
• Ability to read construction drawings and site markers.
• Demonstrated strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Supervisors with delivery of civil projects.
• Lead site teams safely and efficiently on site.
• Oversee formwork, concreting and steel fixing activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Ensure works align with drawings, programs and budgets.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and safety compliance.
• Mentor and develop team members and promote a positive environment.
