Job summary

Avaton Acquire is seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to oversee on-site crews across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast. Youll lead day-to-day activities, coordinate with supervisors, read plans, and ensure safety, quality and productivity while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

Solid civil construction background with experience leading crews.
Experience across TMR roadworks, bulk earthworks, retaining walls or concrete structures.
Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications.
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Construction White Card and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate civil construction crews, subcontractors and plant operators.
Work across TMR roadworks, bulk earthworks, retaining walls and concrete structures.
Coordinate daily tasks, labour, materials and machinery.
Assist with excavation, site preparation, grading and earthworks.
Monitor workmanship, productivity and project progress; ensure safety and quality.
