Job summary
Toowoomba Regional Council in Pittsworth is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead civil construction and maintenance projects.
You will provide expert technical advice, guide graduate engineers, and ensure delivery within time and budget while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil) from a recognised University.
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), or ability to obtain RPEQ within 12 months of appointment.
- WHS Competency (White Card) CPCWHS1001 or equivalent, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Extensive relevant experience in a civil construction environment, preferably in Local Government.
- Understanding of Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour of Accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of civil construction and maintenance projects.
- Provide expert technical advice and develop work practices and procedures.
- Mentor graduates, technical officers and engineering students on work experience.
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental procedures are followed.
- Report progress on time and financial performance.
