Job summary

Melbourne Water is seeking a Change Specialist to lead organisational change initiatives across Melbourne Water. You will partner with leaders, sponsors and delivery teams to build readiness, support adoption and achieve sustainable business outcomes.

You will develop and deliver fit-for-purpose change strategies, assess workforce impacts, coach leaders in effective sponsorship, and oversee communication, engagement, learning and transition activities in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organisational change initiatives in a complex environment.
• Strong capability in building workforce readiness and adoption of new behaviours and processes.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, sponsors and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of change strategies, plans and interventions that support successful adoption and initiative outcomes.
• Ensure change approaches are proportional to scale, complexity and people impact of the initiative.
• Embed Melbourne Water's change management standards, frameworks and practices in delivery activities.
• Lead change management activities throughout the initiative lifecycle, from planning to adoption.
• Partner with sponsors, senior leaders and people leaders to build visible leadership of change.
• Monitor adoption, engagement and transition outcomes, using insights to refine interventions.
• Support the embedding and sustainability of new behaviours, processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to the Change Community of Practice and improve change tools and practices.
