Job summary

Ambulance Victoria (AV) is seeking a Senior Change Manager to spearhead change management strategies and drive enterprise-wide transformation within the Enterprise Services Division. This full-time, fixed-term 12-month role accommodates hybrid work but requires presence at Blackburn North (or Doncaster in the future) to align with the hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in organisational change, business, HR, organisational psychology, management, or communications.
• Formal change management accreditation (e.g. Prosci, APMG Change Management or equivalent) and experience within government, health, emergency services or highly unionised environments.
• Significant experience leading large-scale organisational change and transformation initiatives within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-wide change across multiple business functions, stakeholder groups and interdependent programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and provide trusted advice to senior leaders and executives.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary change management methodologies and experience applying them to initiatives of varying scale, complexity and risk.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create clear change narratives, prepare high-quality reports and support leaders and employees through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management strategies and implementation plans for complex organisational transformation programs.
• Partner with executives, senior leaders and stakeholders to drive engagement, readiness and successful adoption of change.
• Assess organisational impacts, risks and dependencies to ensure change is effectively planned and embedded.
• Provide expert advice, coaching and support to leaders navigating significant organisational change.
• Monitor and evaluate change outcomes, using data and insights to promote sustainable improvements and benefits realisation.
