Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team and support injured workers across rehabilitation and return-to-work journeys.

You will engage with employers, healthcare and legal partners, provide comprehensive case management, and contribute to efficient claims lifecycles while exploiting our hybrid work arrangement and supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management within a Workers' Compensation setting.
• Customer-focused with ability to build trust and rapport and help people.
• Team player with ability to coach and mentor others.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Highly developed communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
• Tertiary qualifications or experience in Allied Health or injury rehabilitation.
• Would be highly regarded, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Advise and provide case management support across rehabilitation cases (50–65) at various stages of return to work.
• Engage with insured employers, injured employees, rehabilitation professionals, medical practitioners and legal providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Support physical and psychological needs of injured workers through mental health, technical and rehabilitation hubs.
• Contribute to return to work outcomes and manage end-to-end claims lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor case managers and collaborate with Mental Health, Recovery and RTW hubs.
