Job summary

The Queensland Government is seeking a Senior Case Manager in Brisbane to manage high-risk sexual and violent offenders in the community, ensuring safety and compliance with court and parole requirements.

You will conduct initial and progressive risk assessments, develop intervention and management plans, monitor breaches, perform drug testing, prepare high‑quality reports, coordinate with the Police Service and other agencies, and mentor junior staff while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Conduct initial and progressive risk assessments
• Prepare high-quality assessment documents

• Ensure compliance with legislation and agency procedures
• Manage high-risk offender caseloads
• Develop offender management plans to meet court/parole orders
• Monitor and review offender progress and risk levels

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct interaction with a caseload of high-risk sexual and violent offenders
• Develop and implement offender management plans
• Co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of management plans
• Ensure timely provision of court and parole advice
• Lead peer verification and coaching of junior staff
• Perform drug testing and maintain statistics
• Promote a positive team culture and resilience
