Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a Case Manager to oversee community-based orders, assess risks, and support rehabilitation while ensuring public safety. You will work as part of a team dedicated to reducing reoffending and helping individuals meet obligations.

The role requires a relevant degree, a Certificate IV in Correctional Practice within 18 months, and a current C class driver’s licence. Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia and may apply in a talent pool

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services or criminology (e.g., Law, Justice, Humanities, Psychology, Social Sciences).
  • Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) to be completed within 18 months after commencement.
  • Must hold a current C class driver's licence.
  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Interview individuals to assess risk and apply risk management.
  • Lead rehabilitation and reintegration efforts for individuals under community supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with conditions of community-based orders and support public safety.
  • Deliver evidence-based case management and guide individuals toward a crime-free future.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and apply policy frameworks with sound judgment.
