Job summary

Clough Limited is seeking a Senior Buyer to join the on-site Supply Chain Team for managing procurement on existing and new projects, including sourcing, RFQ, bid clarification and compliant commercial agreements.

You will support engineering leads, interface with vendor management, and drive conformance of scopes of work and MTOs for RFQ packages, including major equipment for oil & gas, mining and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Senior Buyer.
• Documented experience of managing procurement for major equipment packages in Oil & Gas or Mining/infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to EPC lump sum and reimbursable projects.
• Competent negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience expediting delivery and supplier documentation.
• Knowledge of materials management systems and maintaining purchasing/expediting data.
• Previous experience working with SAP is highly regarded.
• Ability to work a 19:9 FIFO rotation to site.

Responsibilities

• Issuing of conformed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures.
• Managing the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages and bulk-type procurement.
• Interfacing with Engineering Leads for timely issue of scopes of work, MTOs and documents for RFQ packages.
• Working with Vendor management to pre-qualify suppliers where required.
• Ensuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and Services.
