Core Talent is seeking an Onsite Procurement Lead for a major NSW infrastructure project. You will own end-to-end procurement, negotiate high-value contracts, and drive supplier performance to meet critical milestones on site.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior procurement, purchasing or supply-chain roles within major construction, infrastructure, energy or heavy engineering projects.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.
• A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing and tendering through to commercial negotiations, purchase orders and delivery.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Manage high-value procurement packages and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive commercial outcomes.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, commercial, project controls and logistics teams to meet changing site requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, critical deliveries and procurement schedules, proactively resolving issues that may affect project milestones.
• Identify and manage commercial, contractual and supply-chain risks, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
• Oversee purchase orders, procurement commitments, reporting and documentation through SAP or similar systems.
• Drive procurement governance, cost efficiencies, supplier optimisation and continuous improvement across onsite operations.
