Job summary

• Ensure use of existing MSA providers for relevant goods and services.

Senior Buyer – Project Ceres – Clough

Clough is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia that will be the largest urea plant in Australia and one of the largest globally. The plant will support 2,000 jobs during construction and generate long‑term benefits for the local community.

The Senior Buyer will work onsite with the Supply Chain Team, supporting both project and corporate procurement and assisting with awarded projects by planning and delivering procurement activities—including sourcing, RFQs, bid clarification, and commercial agreements—for the project execution phase.

Responsibilities

• Issue conformed purchase order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures.
• Manage the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages and bulk procurements.
• Interface with engineering leads to provide scopes of work, material take‑offs, and associated documents for RFQ packages.
• Collaborate with vendor management to pre‑qualify suppliers where required.
• Ensure use of existing MSA providers for relevant goods and services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Buyer.
• Documented experience managing procurement of major equipment packages for oil & gas, mining, and infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to EPC lump‑sum and reimbursable projects.
• Competent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience expediting delivery of purchased equipment and supplier documentation.
• Basic knowledge of materials management systems and experience maintaining purchasing/expediting data.
• Experience with SAP is highly regarded.
• Ability to work a 19:9 FIFO rotation on site.
