Role Overview

My client is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new client acquisition across ASX 50 and Public Sector organizations in the ANZ region. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional with a proven track record and a passion for growth. You’ll engage top executives, convert leads into strategic partnerships, and close high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate C-level leads through networking, social media, events, and outreach.
• Conduct impactful face-to-face and virtual sales meetings.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the MWC portfolio.
• Lead consultative sales processes from opportunity to close, transitioning accounts to Engagement Managers.
• Articulate my client’s value proposition and align solutions with client challenges.
• Manage a 90-day sales cycle and consistently meet or exceed targets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of successful sales/business development experience, including C-level negotiations within ASX 50 companies.
• Proven expertise in selling Data Analytics, AI/ML, Data Engineering, GenAI, and technology services.
• Experience with software/license product sales is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet financial targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of enterprise business dynamics.
• Willingness to travel across ANZ as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a business-related postgraduate degree is preferred.
