Our Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Bid Writer to join ourSydney office. In this role you will work closely with the Business Development hub, you will be tasked with developing high quality, compelling and successful tender responses and business content.

Additionally, in this role you will

• Ownership of the response document, writing compliant and compelling bid content - leveraging content from the subject matter experts to ensure consistency and readability across the proposal.
• Liaise with clients during bid process to gain insights into the tender requirement, address queries and maintain positive client relationships.
• Analyse client requirements and tailor responses to meet their needs.
• Management of the response document, formatting and proofing content and ensuring the production of high-quality tender responses.
• Design graphically pleasing tender documents using corporate templates.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure all outgoing tender documents are consistent and within brand guidelines.
• Create strong relationships with SMG to get winning scope content into all bids and client business development presentations.
• Assist with managing incoming work requests, including assessment and allocation to approproate resources.
• Work with the Bid Manager to maintain and update the content library and bid guides
• Assist with marketing collateral development.
• Ensure timely submission of high-quality tenders.
• Track progress of submissions and report to the Bid Manager as required.

Who we are looking for

• Previous experience in a bid writing role or similar.
• Working knowledge of MS office suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Adobe Suite such as InDesign.
• Ability to speak with clients, work with different client stakeholders, and a clear understanding of the client journey.
• Strong document review and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
